Security 2016 – Review on the leading global fair for civil security
Frankfurt/M. – October 2016. For the 22nd time, the Security in Essen has opened its doors for the international experts of the civil security and fire prevention industry and has proven once again why it is being labelled as the most significant fair of the international industry. As in previous years, ESSA, the leading association of the security industry, was the official partner of the Security fair in Essen.
1,040 companies from 45 nations – 40,000 trade visitors from 119 nations. The numbers clearly demonstrate the direction in which the industry is evolving at the moment. ESSA used the opportunity of the biennial fair to introduce the association to international exhibitors as well as trade visitors. Numerous opportunities for technical discussions and exchange on the latest topics of the security industry were offered during speeches or roundtables throughout all four trade fair days.
The Security 2016 has demonstrated impressively which new challenges will be faced by the industry in the future but also which immense chances will be offered due to this development.
Reviewing the Security fair of 2016, it can be said, that it was a complete success for ESSA. The exhibition stand of ESSA and ECB-S has been a contact point for many members of the association as well as interested parties. Especially with regard to the upcoming ESSA general assembly in November, the fair, the exhibitors and all its visitors have contributed a lot of interesting content which will be discussed and evaluated at this event.
